Hexing Planner PSD
After getting really frustrated at not having a good way to plan out my hexing road map, I decided to make a Photoshop file that I could use to easily plan out my hexes, pick my colours (OMG am I the only one who uses a colour and then totally forgets which colour I picked!?), keep notes and make my textures. This took some trial and error and it may evolve in the future, but for now I'm pretty happy with how it works.
I hope you guys find it helpful/useful!

My Concept |
Here is an example to show you guys how I best used this Hexing Planner. On the left I created a concept of what I wanted the dog to look like. I used colours off the chart and created 3 new textures to give this dog a fun new look!
It was a bit of a challenge to know where to paint and how to make it best translate using Petz Workshop, but what I chose to do is once I had my plan more or less, I opened Petz Workshop and had both things going at the same time. I found it really useful to do it this way. |
